For the USA, China, Argentina and other partner countries

  • Passport from a 462 partner country
  • Age 18–30 (up to 35 for US passport holders)
  • Some countries have annual quotas (e.g. China)
  • Functional English and education requirements apply

2nd & 3rd Year Extensions

Temporary

Extend by completing specified regional work

  • 88 days of specified regional work for the 2nd year
  • 6 months for the 3rd year
  • Employer must be in eligible postcodes and industries
